Gnargrim
Gnargrim is a Dragon in the forward part of the right side of our consciousness. They've been playing themselves in an RPG called Mythikal by Jasmine Barlow, based on Cortex Prime, since 2018, and have been enjoying it immensely.

Role in the System
Gnargrim has been known as the Watchman and the Sentinel in the past, but has decided that the best title for themselves is Brood Guardian. They have a strong maternal drive with a fierce protective streak, and have a tendency to take charge if we are put in charge of watching children. Though, they also elicit help from Akailea and Gretcha to do this with a full set of skills.
They also have acted as Protector for the system in the traditional plurality sense of the term. Usually intervening on our behalf when Phage is not available. They are more calm, stable, and thoughtful than any of the id monsters, so they usually get involved in a true crisis situation where quick, non-panicked, non-emotional thinking is needed.
Earliest Memories
Gnargrim hasn't spent a lot of time thinking about what their earliest memories are, but can recall certain encounters with bullies in middle school, and arguments and games with our brother and cousins.
We first drew a cartoon of them and named them in our early 20s, and recall feeling their recognition and satisfaction upon completing that sketch.
Self Image
Gnargrim sees themselves as an 18 foot long wingless dragon, as depicted in the portrait above. They have always experienced themselves as having this form, and spend all their time inworld expressing it.
They are so consistent in doing so that if they spend more than a few weeks without fronting, they experience strong Alice in Wonderland syndrome when they next front. The whole world looks bigger to them than it should and walking places takes longer than they expect, as our body is smaller than they are used to imagining inworld.

For some reason, I got to front while we walked from the Black Drop to the bus depot. And now I wonder if I've fronted while walking around before. Because I not only lack any memory of doing so, but I also experienced a kind of dissociation the whole time.
Everything around me moved slower than I expected. And it was all way more sharp and real looking and feeling than I'm used to. Kind of like I was playing a first person shooter that has just enough detail in the graphics to make the computer bog down, but not so much that it becomes jumpy.
Halfway to the depot I caught a glimpse of our reflection in a window and did NOT recognize the tiny black clad monkey there. No tail, no neck, head too small for its body, no frills or horns. The posture was almost mine, but clearly limited by its anatomy and balance.
So, that made me think the visual effects of the dissociation are technically Alice in Wonderland syndrome, and what I was experiencing was the rest of the world being larger in relation to me than I am somehow used to.
Relationships
Besides working with Akailea and Gretcha, Gnargrim is in a queer platonic partnership with Fenmere and considers Phage to be a close adoptive sibling.
Projects
As stated above, they are primarily play-testing Mythikal, but also have plans to appear in Epic of Sally and are thinking about how they can more openly interact with the outside world.
